Collaborations

October 2021 – My Heart Is in These Medicine Bundles – Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) : This two-part public program takes Mary Holiday Black’s Ceremonial Basket, Black, Red, White (c. 1998) in MAD’s permanent collection as a catalyst for collaboration. Facilitated by Diné (Navajo) artist Damian Jim and members of the Brooklyn-based Interference Archive, this event highlights the importance of collective-making processes in crafts and celebrates the unexpected results of co-creation. 

2021 Heard Museum Guild – T-shirt design for 2021 Heard Virtual Indian Market.

Weaving A Revolution – A Celebration of Contemporary Navajo Baskets – 2013 : An exhibit showcasing contemporary Dine’ Basketry. Hosted by the Natural History Museum of Utah.

Ch’ikééh Baa Hózhó – A Contemporary Native Female Arts Showcase : A collaboration with Ziindi and Navajo Nation Museum, to produce an all female contemporary artist show. The exhibition is slated to run from February 2013 to October 2013. Using Ziindi.com and an all female artists issue, the Navajo Nation Museum agreed to house this revolutionary exhibit.
